What are some things that you can do to shift load and take advantage of lower rates in the off peak hours?
1. Change the thermostat settings on your HVAC unit so that it doesn’t run as much during the on-peak hours. See PWC’s Customer Incentive Programs for more information about Wi-Fi and programmable thermostat incentives.
2. Wait to run the dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, oven, TV and other appliances when the cost of electricity is lower.
3. Turn off unnecessary lights.
